German publishing house Hoffmann und Campe was first inspired to adapt The Weekender's editorial piece for their compilation of Doris Lessing's translated short stories "Meine Katzen - My Cats". Thoughtfully reconstructed to honour the proportion of the book, the cover design opened up a collaborative relationship that includes the Agatha Christie series featuring the infamous Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple.
